Dark chocolate roughly chopped1 cup
Carrot grated1 large
Ghee 1 tablespoon
Sugar 4 tablespoons
Vanilla sponge cake small pieces1 cup
Green cardamom powder a pinch
Sprinklers for garnish
Method
Step 1
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add carrot and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add sugar and saute for 1-2 minutes or till the sugar melts.
Step 2
Transfer the carrot along with the syrup into a bowl. Add cinnamon powder, green cardamom powder and cake pieces and mix well.
Step 3
Boil sufficient water in a non-stick kadai. Put the chocolate in a bowl and place the bowl in the kadai and stir till chocolate melts.
Step 4
Shape the carrot mixture into elongated balls. Pierce a stick from one end. Coat with the melted chocolate and garnish with sprinklers. Set in the refrigerator for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
